How to leave a voice mail?

Many of you might be unsure about how to leave a voicemail for people who can't hear. Don't worry, we're here to help!

We want to provide you with some tips on what to do if the person you're calling doesn't answer. When our interpreter asks, "Do you want to leave a message?" and waits for the interpreter to give you the signal, such as a "beep," follow these steps:

  1. Your name and surname
  2. Share your Convo number or mobile number
  3. Give a brief summary of why you're calling. Aim to keep it around 20 to 30 seconds

Here's an example message:
Interpreter: "Do you want to leave a message?"
DP: "Yes, please."
Waits for the interpreter to give you the signal, such as "beep"
DP: "Hi, I'm Joshua. Please call me back at <your phone number> as I need to set up an appointment with Dr. Smith."

See? It's a simple and quick message.
